Obtenha o mais novo gcc para o debian?

Eu não posso construir meus aplicativos no gcc desde que eu uso vários recursos c ++ 0x. Eu estou no Debian 6 (Lenny) e depois de atualizar / atualizar eu tenho gcc versão 4.4.5-8. Não tenho certeza de qual versão é necessária, mas o mingw 4.6.2 funciona. gcc 4.7.0 está fora.

Como eu instalo o gcc versão 4.6+ no Debian?

Debian 6.0 é o Squeeze (atualmente estável); Lenny era 5.0 (atualmente oldstable). Eu suponho que você quis dizer Squeeze.

Use apt-pinning para adicionar com segurança o Wheezy (atualmente testando) ao seu sources.list e, em seguida, instale gcc-4.7/wheezy .

Em outras palavras, seu /etc/apt/sources.list deve ser parecido com isto:

deb local.debian.mirror squeeze main
deb local.debian.mirror wheezy main

enquanto seu /etc/apt/preferences deve ser algo como isto:

Package: *
Pin: release n=squeeze
Pin-Priority: 900

(Os números exatos não importam muito; veja man 5 apt_preferences para detalhes sobre os vários intervalos significa.)

Isso evitará que pacotes de teste sejam instalados de maneira não intencional. (Claro, você poderia apenas atualizar todo o seu sistema para testes.)

Você pode obter alguns erros de resolução com apt-get install gcc-4.7/testing , pois terá dependências que exigem versões superiores a estáveis; apt-get --target-release testing install gcc-4.7 irá definir o teste para a prioridade 990 para a duração do comando.

Backporting para squeeze / stable é possível, mas não é trivial. Aqui está um patch contra arquivos no diretório debian que se aplica às fontes 4.7.0-1 Debian nos testes (também deve funcionar contra a versão supostamente diferente 4.7.0-3 na unstable), e deve permitir que uma seja construída com sucesso no squeeze, embora eu não tenha testado o patch diretamente aplicando-o a fontes primitivas. Obviamente, é possível instalar pacotes binários a partir de testes na stable, mas não é uma boa ideia em geral. Fazer essas coisas é uma receita para a instabilidade e, em primeiro lugar, anula o propósito de usar estável. No entanto, backporting dessa maneira não deve forçar nenhuma atualização adicional nem causar problemas ao sistema.

Não me lembro de fazer alterações em rules.parameters , mas a maior parte do restante do patch são alterações que fiz, ao contrário das alterações geradas por máquina. Tente aplicar este patch para os fontes Debian e executando debuild binary ou similar. Eu poderia fazer o upload do patch em algum lugar, se houver interesse, e se conseguir isso com essa mensagem não for conveniente. Relatórios de sucesso e fracasso bem-vindos.

Notas:

• Isso exigirá a instalação de várias dependências de compilação, mas somente a partir do squeeze,
  e apt-get build-dep não funcionam, pois as dependências de compilação foram localmente
  alterado - você terá que fazer isso manualmente.
• A compilação de libgcc1-dbg estava dando erros, então eu tirei isso.
• A suíte de testes tem alguns problemas, então eu os desativei. Veja as linhas with_check := disabled by hand . A questão não é a falha dos testes, mas o A compilação não pode encontrar alguns arquivos relacionados aos testes, por isso erros são cometidos.
• Eu substitui binutils pela versão no squeeze, ou seja, binutils (>= 2.20.1) .
• Desativei multilib , pois o squeeze não o usa.
• Esta versão foi testada em amd64, mas também deve funcionar em pelo menos i386.
