DPMS não funciona: o monitor não está desligado [fechado]

Question

Eu tenho um monitor que foi devidamente desligado pelo meu PC da Debian quando não utilizado. Eu anexei a outra máquina e, desta vez, nunca é desligado.

Em /etc/X11/xorg.conf , tenho:

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier      "Generic Monitor"
        Option          "DPMS"

É reconhecido quando o X11 é iniciado:
