pipinstall fornece python “Comando” setup.py egg_info “falhou com o código de erro 1”

Eu estou tentando instalar o pacote python rpy2 com pip instalar no Ubuntu 16.04:

pip install rpy2==2.2.7

mas receba uma mensagem de erro (consulte a saída completa abaixo):

Command "python setup.py egg_info" failed with error code 1 in /tmp/pip-build-EuOI6K/unroll/

O mesmo acontece com outros pacotes, como pip install unroll , ou usando pip2 . Eu pensei que este post foi o mesmo problema, mas lá resolveu usando o sudo.

Soluções testadas

Eu tentei soluções neste postar , como: pip install --upgrade setuptools , (sudo) easy_install -U setuptools ou sudo apt-get install python-setuptools , mas sem sucesso.

python / pip info

você precisa de ferramentas de configuração e provavelmente os módulos dev devem digitar o seguinte

sudo apt-get install python-setuptools
sudo apt-get install python-dev

pode fazer sentido atualizar o pip primeiro para garantir que não há nada além de um bom funcionamento, isso é feito digitando

sudo apt install python-pip

A versão de python-setuptools no repositório de pacotes do Ubuntu 16.04 LTS está desatualizada / não-mantida. Atualize-o com pip em vez de confiar no gerenciador de pacotes:

$ sudo pip install --upgrade setuptools

Solução que tirei para minha própria pergunta: as respostas propostas não resolveram o problema, então acabei usando conda , criando um ambiente específico para o pacote que eu precisava, e isso funcionou! Esta é agora a melhor solução, especialmente porque requer a instalação de uma versão paralela (tu podes usar o miniconda para o espaço) mas é uma prática!
