Instalei o driver proprietário Nvidia 384.90 e ele vê os dois cartões. A primeira placa é conectada a um monitor "inteligente" da Samsung (inseguro de modelo) por HDMI. Há um alto-falante de parede JVL conectado por cabo óptico na Samsung. Até o Ubuntu 17.04, o som funcionou através do HDMI. As opções de som HDMI ainda aparecem no som, pavucontrol e alsamixer.
O som ainda funciona bem quando este PC é inicializado no Windows.
Neste momento, o som que sai no dia 17.10 (e no dia 17.04) é muito agitado, agudo e você não consegue nem entender as palavras. Alterar a latência ajuda, mas não resolve. AQUI ESTÁ A COISA ESTRANGEIRA: SE EU REDUZIR A LATÊNCIA OU AUMENTÁ-LA NO PAVUCONTROL, POSSO OBTER O SOM NORMAL ENQUANTO A CONFIGURAÇÃO DA LATÊNCIA ESTÁ SENDO REINICIADA (QUALQUER DIREÇÃO), mas assim que eu paro de alterá-la e libero o controle de configuração (definido pelo mouse) ), o som agitado volta.
Qualquer ideia seria apreciada.
