Estou usando um laptop antigo como um reprodutor de dvd, por isso quero que o som seja sempre reproduzido via HDMI, mas sempre que suspendo, o som volta para os alto-falantes internos. Eu posso mudar o som de volta para HDMI com este comando:
pacmd set-card-profile 0 output:hdmi-stereo
Eu editei /etc/pulse/default.pa da seguinte forma:
load-module module-stream-restore restore_device=false #added restore_device=false
...
#load-module module-switch-on-port-available #commented this out
...
set-card-profile 0 output:hdmi-stereo #added at end of file
Isso faz com que o HDMI seja o padrão quando o computador é inicializado, mas ao suspendê-lo, ele volta para os alto-falantes internos. Como posso fazer permanentemente o padrão HDMI? Se isso ajudar, a saída de pacmd list-cards

Atualização: por algum motivo, copiar / etc / pulse / para ~ / .config / pulse fez com que funcionasse. Não faço ideia do porquê
