Bluetooth não está funcionando no Ubuntu 16.04

Question

Meu Bluetooth está ligado e visível, mas não detecta nenhum dispositivo e não está sendo detectado por outros dispositivos.

Eu sei que há muitas perguntas semelhantes por aí, mas nenhuma das soluções propostas parece funcionar para mim.

Este adaptador ainda não é suportado pelo kernel do Linux.

Para incluir este adaptador, você precisa relatar um bug para o Launchpad executando no terminal

Isso não levará muito tempo para ser corrigido. Eu irei construir um módulo de teste e o BT esperará trabalhar com ele. Enquanto isso, o suporte alcançará os núcleos estáveis em algum momento.
