Como habilitar o kernel para carregar a placa Intel® Wireless 7260 no NUC DC3217IYE com o Debian 7?

• com o Debian 3.2.60-1 + deb7u3 x86_64 GNU / Linux
• 867Mbps 802.11ac Cartão Intel 7260, banda dupla de 5 GHz + 2,4 GHz sem fio 2x2 AC + Bluetooth4.0

Instalando drivers

Eu instalei este cartão no NUC. O Bluetooth parece ser detectado.

Eu instalei vários drivers em /lib/firmware/ :

seguindo as instruções para iwlwifi

# apt-get update && apt-get install firmware-iwlwifi

Após a reinicialização, o adaptador sem fio ainda não é detectado.

Como posso ter certeza de que meus iwlwifi drivers estão carregados?

dmesg não mostra nenhum erro, iwlwifi não aparece (?). Imaginei que deveria ver uma entrada para iwlwifi depois de copiar o driver em /lib/firmware

Seu kernel é muito antigo. O link diz "Intel® Wireless 7260 (3.10)", então você precisará de pelo menos o Linux 3.10.

Configure os backports da Debian e instale um kernel mais novo:

aptitude -t wheezy-backports install linux-image-amd64
