Como posso inicializar persistentemente no linux-grsec?

Instalei o kernel linux-grsec em minha máquina via pacman . Embora eu possa editar as configurações de grub no momento da inicialização pressionando ' e ' no menu do carregador de inicialização, as atualizações que faço especificando qual kernel e ramdisk usar serão efêmeras e não persistirão após a reinicialização.

Como posso tornar essas alterações persistentes?

'GRUB_DEFAULT' The default menu entry. This may be a number, in which case it identifies the Nth entry in the generated menu counted from zero, or the title of a menu entry, or the special string 'saved'.
