Remova a nova linha antes de '/ etc / issue' em tty

Desejo remover a nova linha padrão inserida antes do conteúdo do /etc/issue no prompt de login em tty . Estou usando agetty e systemd .

Eu tentei adicionar a opção --nonewline ao meu [email protected] :

ExecStart=/sbin/agetty --nonewline --noclear %I $TERM

Esse resultado em:

Por que agetty não quer reconhecer a opção? Existe outra maneira de fazer isso?

Você atingiu um bug! Há uma diretiva F_NONL que nunca é chamada no binário agetty como pode ser visto nas fontes:

No loop while deve haver um bloco como abaixo, que está faltando.
