Meu novo laptop MSI PE60 2QE monta um Chipset de gráficos integrados Intel® 5600 conectado a um monitor Samsung 156HL01-102.
A tela funciona perfeitamente quando eu inicializo com o parâmetro "nomodeset" na linha de comando do kernel - mas usando o driver framebuffer, que não permite múltiplos monitores.
Com o KMS ativado (removendo o parâmetro "nomodeset"), o X inicia corretamente com os drivers intel e eu posso usar vários monitores, mas o painel do laptop mostra um piscar irregular, variando de ocasionais linhas horizontais pretas piscando (que são realmente irritante) a um piscar constante & amp; cintilando tornando a exibição praticamente inutilizável.
Um monitor externo conectado à porta DP funciona bem. Eu não tentei o HDMI ainda.
As coisas que tentei (entre muitas outras que descobri eram irrelevantes): * Criar um novo EDID (1.3) que corresponda às características do monitor, conforme recomendado no link * Definir diferentes modos de vídeo usando o xrandr * Inicializando com Kernel 3.19.0.25 com i915.enable_IPS = 0 como sugerido aqui: Tela piscando no Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 - resolução 4K * Inicializando com i915.powersave = 0 * Inicializando com o acpi_osi = Linux
Como faço para que os drivers da intel funcionem sem essa oscilação?

Eu tive problemas semelhantes com cintilação no Ubuntu. No meu caso, ajudou a desativar a "Exibição desconhecida" em Configurações - > Exibe. Talvez funcione também no seu caso.
Para resolver o seu problema, instale os mais recentes drivers atuais NVIDIA de filiais de curta duração 355 .
Mas primeiro desfaça todas as alterações feitas para definir o sistema de volta à configuração padrão.
Remover todos os parâmetros - desinstale todos os softwares relacionados à NVIDIA instalados anteriormente.
Inicialize no sistema Ubuntu e quando a tela de login aparecer pressione Ctrl + Alt + F1 .
Digite seu nome de usuário e senha e execute:
sudo apt-get purge nvidia*
sudo reboot
Nota:
Se você tiver o bumblebee instalado, remova os pacotes também (ele será substituído pelo nvidia-prime).
Nesse caso, os comandos seriam:
sudo apt-get purge nvidia* bumblebee
sudo reboot
Agora instale os novos drivers e suporte ao NVIDIA Optimus.
Quando a tela de login aparecer, pressione Ctrl + Alt + F1 .
Digite seu nome de usuário e senha e execute:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nvidia-355 nvidia-prime
sudo reboot
Caso você precise ajustar a placa que será usada no BIOS, selecione NVIDIA ou o modo de gráficos selecionáveis .
Abra Configurações do NVIDIA X Server - > Prime Profiles para alternar entre as GPUs intel e NVIDIA.
