“fuse: falha ao executar fusermount: Permissão negada” na tentativa de executar o ICIJ neo4j AppImage no Centos

Question

No Oracle Linux Server (semelhante ao Centos / RHEL 6), estou tentando executar o vazamento do ICIJ Offshore neo4j AppImage ( link de download ). A imagem tem o nome neo4j-desktop-for-icij-1.0.0-x86_64.AppImage .

Depois de tornar o arquivo executável e emissor

./neo4j-desktop-for-icij-1.0.0-x86_64.AppImage

Eu recebo o seguinte erro:

fuse: failed to exec fusermount: Permission denied

Cannot mount AppImage, please check your FUSE setup.
You might still be able to extract the contents of this AppImage

O AppImage precisa de um pacote FUSE externo? Eu então corri como sugerido

./neo4j-desktop-for-icij-1.0.0-x86_64.AppImage --appimage-extract

e isso realmente extraiu o conteúdo (para um subdiretório squashfs-root ). Mas como eu inicio o aplicativo agora? Eu tentei

./squashfs-root/AppRun

mas isso me dá

Desktop file is missing. Please run ./squashfs-root/AppRun from within an AppImage.

Então, como eu corro / inicio o aplicativo? Obrigado por todos os ponteiros!
