Tmux: Não é possível alternar os painéis no modo de cópia?

Question

Eu tentei copiar e colar a configuração do tmux.conf do meu colega de trabalho para o meu e executar tmux source-file ~/.tmux.conf . Parece ter atualizado (eu posso dizer porque as cores foram atualizadas)

Ele tem uma configuração onde ele pode alternar os painéis com option + hjkl . Eu também posso fazer isso.

No entanto, quando estou no modo de cópia ( option + u ) e rolando para cima e para baixo, não consigo alternar entre painéis com option + hjkl , mas ele pode.

Há algo que estou perdendo? Aqui está a configuração:
