Detecção de jack de áudio (alto-falante) com debian

Como descobrir se o conector do alto-falante está conectado ou não na minha placa-mãe

Tentei algumas referências de:     Detectando conexão / desconexão do fone de ouvido no Linux

colou minha saída de amixer. Preciso de orientação sobre como detectar o plugue de entrada e saída de áudio.
