Configure o protocolo SMB2 no Samba 3.6.6

Eu decidi mudar para a versão superior do SMB no Samba (pelo menos 2) - principalmente por motivos de segurança.

Eu tentei adicionar ao smb.conf na seção [global]:

client min protocol = SMB2
client max protocol = SMB3
server min protocol = SMB2

ou apenas

protocol=SMB2

Eu reiniciei o samba ou o servidor inteiro após cada tentativa. Mas os logs dizem:

Eu pesquisei um pouco e notei que algumas pessoas configuram cufs também no FSTAB. Acho que não tinha feito isso e estava funcionando apenas por causa do smb.conf.

Devo editar o FSTAB? Como?
Quando é possível configurar o protocolo de versão como na página MAN no smb.conf, quando é necessário fazer isso no FSTAB?
Eu acho que o protocolo min pode não estar disponível na versão do Samba que eu uso. Mas de qualquer forma, ele suporta o protocolo SMB2, então como posso ativá-lo?

executando o Samba-3.6.3 no SLES 11.4 que tem o kernel 3.0, minha seção global é esta e eu sei que o SMB2 funciona porque o cliente do windows 10 NÃO se conecta via SMB1 o mínimo é SMB2 para o win10 fora da caixa.

Observe que, se você definir Min Protocol = SMB2 , se seus clientes forem o Windows 7, não funcionarão para eles ... pelo menos eu não resolvi a solução de problemas no lado do Windows. Acho que para o Win7 é o padrão SMB1, a menos que você configure manualmente algo no win7 para dizer do SMB2.

E, por qualquer motivo, a configuração max protocol = SMB3 fez com que as coisas não funcionassem para mim, portanto, eu especifiquei o SMB2.

você não precisa fazer nada em /etc/fstab além de montar seu recurso de armazenamento como faria normalmente. Então, uma vez montado, certifique-se de que as permissões de acesso dessa pasta ... chmod 777 /data1 no meu exemplo estejam abertas para iniciantes. Depois, quando estiver trabalhando, remova as permissões do mundo e altere a propriedade e as permissões do grupo conforme necessário.
