Driver do kernel do Virtualbox não instalado

Question

Estou tentando instalar um sistema operacional convidado do Ubuntu na caixa virtual do sistema operacional host xubuntu 16.04. Eu tinha instalado o VirtualBox antes no meu laptop e depois de um tempo eu o estava usando novamente. Mas desta vez eu enfrento alguns erros: / p>

Quando tento abri-lo pelo terminal, recebo esta saída:

WARNING: The character device /dev/vboxdrv does not exist.

E quando começa, crio uma máquina virtual e tento iniciar a VM, mas recebo duas janelas de erro que dizem:

Meu virtualbox-dkms é a última versão, mas para ter certeza de que o reinstalei algumas vezes.E quando tento executar o modprobe vboxdrv , recebo modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'vboxdrv': Exec format error

Enquanto pesquisava em vários segmentos, reinstalei dkms e virtualbox-dkms , mas também não funcionou.

Agora eu quero saber qual é o problema e o que causou isso?

E como devo resolver este problema?
