Eu uso o Ubuntu 17.10. No primeiro terminal, aguardo os dados:
cat < /dev/ttyS0
Em seguida, no segundo terminal, tento enviar dados para a porta serial:
echo -ne '3[2J' > /dev/ttyS0
mas os dados não são visíveis no primeiro terminal.
Aqui uma configuração de porta serial: stty -F /dev/ttyS0 -a
