Não é possível obter som para trabalhar no persistente Kali live USB, com o 2017 Macbook pro

Não consigo fazer o som funcionar em um persistente Kali live USB conectado a um MacBook Pro 2017.

Eu tentei as sugestões para limpar pulseaudio e sudo apt-get install alsa-base ...... - mas elas estão desatualizadas porque o ALSA já está embutido no kernel. Aqui estão algumas informações:

Agora eu tenho pulseaudio desinstalado (eu purgei em um esforço para obter o ALSA para carregar, quando eu abro o mixer ALSA é apenas um canal mestre que eu posso ajustar ( PCM ) - ele está detectando meu cartão cound como

Como carrego o ALSA? (em vez de snd_hda_intel ? Ou ALSA usa isso?)
