Debian 8 lento WiFi, sempre tem que reconectar

Eu instalei Jessie em um laptop Toshiba P55W-B1112. Sempre que me conecto à Internet de alta velocidade via Wi-Fi, é muito lento e, em seguida, tenho de me reconectar várias vezes por minuto.
