Como desinstalo o pacote de desktop do Ubuntu Studio?

Question

Instalei ubuntustudio-desktop para o Ubuntu 12.04.1 no meu computador.

Então notei que não há diferença prática (com a versão não estúdio) , com exceção do Xfce e da nova tela inicial, então decidi excluí-lo.

Alguém poderia me ajudar a desinstalá-lo?

Copie e cole a linha completa abaixo (adaptada das instruções do Xubuntu aqui ):

Isso deve funcionar:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
sudo apt-get purge ubuntustudio-desktop
sudo apt-get purge ubuntustudio-default-settings plymouth-theme-ubuntustudio
sudo apt-get --purge autoremove

Eu percebo que este é um thread "morto", mas, eu tenho algo a acrescentar: tente 'sudo apt-get remove xfce *, se a lista grande falhar e você quiser se livrar do ambiente xfce. ..
