Ubuntu 16.04 RAM LTS não detectada

Tenho processadores AMD FX-8350 e placa-mãe Gigabyte 970 Gaming G1. ambos suportam 8 + 8 GB de RAM. Mas quando eu instalei o Ubuntu 16.06 LTS apenas 8 GB de RAM detectado. Embora im BIOS 16GB RAM está mostrando. Alguém por favor pode ajudar a descobrir o problema.

Você tem 4 slots de memória numerados como 0, 1, 2 e 3.

Normalmente (pelo menos nas placas-mãe de RAM de canal duplo), se você tiver apenas 2 de 4 slots usados, os blocos de RAM serão inseridos nos slots pares ou ímpares. Muitas vezes, os soquetes também têm duas cores diferentes para indicar isso.

Como a saída de sudo lshw -c memory sugere, seus tijolos são colocados nos slots 1 e 2.

Eu sugeriria mudar suas posições de modo que ambos os blocos estejam em slots pares (0, 2) ou ímpares (1, 3). Consulte o manual da sua placa principal para obter a encomenda exacta recomendada.
