Porque você está usando este PPA
A versão do GTK está no handbrake-gtk e tem o caminho
/usr/bin/ghb
A versão da CLI está no pacote handbrake-cli
sudo apt-get install handbrake-cli
com o caminho
/usr/bin/HandBrakeCLI
Estou tentando instalar a versão atual do handbrake no Trusty. Eu instalei dos repositórios padrão e descobri que ele suportava apenas o formato MKV .
Depois de pesquisar no Google, achei todos instalados do stebbins/handbrake-releases ppa. De acordo com as instruções no site da barra de lançamento, adicionei as seguintes linhas ao meu arquivo sources.list :
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/stebbins/handbrake-releases/ubuntu trusty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/stebbins/handbrake-releases/ubuntu trusty main
e depois:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install handbrake-gtk
produz a seguinte saída:

Mas não há freio de mão:

Como instalo o freio de mão no Trusty (lubuntu-desktop)? Eu tinha isso funcionando perfeitamente no Precise. Eu devo estar perdendo algo estúpido e óbvio.
