Ubuntu 12.04 apt-get atualização falhando

Eu tenho uma nova nova instalação de 12.04 LTS. Quando tento executar um simples apt-get update , é o que recebo:

Eu li todos os tópicos, tentei todos os resultados que consegui encontrar e reconstruí a máquina duas vezes. Alguém pode ajudar?

Parece-me que o seu ficheiro /etc/apt/sources.list tem URIs mal formados. Especificamente, os URIs HTTP têm apenas uma barra (/) após a definição do protocolo (deve ser dois //).

Seus URIs:

http:/us.archive.ubuntu.com [...]
http:/security.ubuntu.com [...]

Como deveria ser:

http://us.archive.ubuntu.com [...]
http://security.ubuntu.com [...]

Talvez uma pesquisa e substituição mal formatadas?
