às vezes Não é possível conectar-se ao servidor MySQL local por meio do soquete '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock'

Eu tenho meu aplicativo instalado e funcionando, com rails no meu VPS do ubuntu no Linode com o mysql.

aqui está a versão do mysql:

mysql  Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.35, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 6.2

Geralmente tudo funciona bem, exceto que, às vezes, quando abro um novo console de rails, recebo o seguinte erro:

e a partir deles todas as tentativas de entrar no console falham. Por que o aplicativo ainda funciona bem e ainda está usando o banco de dados.

Se eu fizer em um shell:

$ sudo /etc/init.d/mysql status

$ sudo /etc/init.d/mysql stop

mas o aplicativo continua funcionando bem o tempo todo.

O /var/log/mysql/error.log estava vazio antes desses três comandos, depois deles eu li:

Somente reinicializar o VPS parece resolver o problema, que retorna após uma ou duas conexões do console.

Eu imaginei que desligar o Mysql de init.d não desligue, para pará-lo eu preciso kill , então ele automaticamente reaparece.

$ ps -ef | grep mysq[l]

$ sudo /etc/init.d/mysql stop

Isso pode ser porque o mysql não pôde iniciar a inicialização.

Experimente este remédio

/etc/init.d/mysqld restart

ou tente isso

Remova o atributo basedir do arquivo /etc/my.cnf

Por quê?

A diretiva basedir instrui o MySQL onde encontrar tudo o que precisa para funcionar: binários, bibliotecas, dados, etc. Por isso, stipulatingbasedir = / var / lib, o MySQL irá procurar / var / lib por tudo o que for necessário para executar suas funções. / p>

Para instalações típicas via RPM, esta diretiva não é necessária e não deve ser usada. Para uma descrição mais exaustiva desta diretiva, por favor consulte o manual do MySQL.

nota

Eu realmente falei uma vez sobre esse problema devido a um problema de memória também. Experimente e verifique se há memória livre também.
