Meu problema é que não consigo me conectar a alguns WiFis enquanto outros ainda funcionam. Tudo funcionou bem há uma semana. O ponto de acesso móvel criado pelo meu telefone ainda está funcionando bem.
Esse problema é mais comum, pois eu frequentemente envio meu notebook para dormir, em vez de desligar. Eu verifiquei a questão Rede sem fio não funciona depois do currículo Ubuntu 14.04 , mas isso não ajudou.
Ficaria muito grato por qualquer ajuda com isso, incluindo ponteiros que registram, etc., que podem fornecer mais informações.

Embora essa resposta possa não ser muito útil, talvez forneça um pouco de clareza.
Eu nunca encontrei uma solução para esse problema além de "reiniciar até que eu funcione novamente". No entanto, após uma atualização para 16.04, o erro (ainda) não apareceu novamente e tudo corre bem. Então atualizar para uma versão mais recente resolveu isso para mim.
