O motivo foi porque /etc/init.d/postfix não existia.
Eu criei um arquivo /etc/init.d/postfix em branco e tornei-o executável usando sudo chmod +x /etc/init.d/postfix , então o problema foi resolvido.
Quando tento remover postfix , recebo este erro:
