Não é possível inicializar o Windows 7 após a instalação do Linux

Tive que alterar o tipo de partição do sistema Windows que foi marcado como "Swap" por algum motivo para o tipo de sistema NTFS. Eu fiz isso fazendo logon no linux e alterando-o no gerenciador de partição. Eu reiniciei, carreguei o windows7 do menu GRUB e finalmente consegui carregar a tela de login.

Pergunta antiga

Então eu instalei o Linux Ubuntu em uma partição separada para evitar conflitos com a instalação do Windows. Eu tive muitos problemas para resolver o problema "instalar ao lado". Depois que finalmente consegui fazer isso, e reinicializando meu computador após uma instalação bem-sucedida do Linux, não pude inicializar a partir do windows 7.

Eu tentei muitas soluções, mas nenhuma delas conseguiu me ajudar.

Algumas coisas que são relevantes mencionar:

O sistema operacional ativo era o windows 7, com janelas pré-instaladas 8 (mas não ativadas). Eu não tenho um leitor de CD no meu computador.

Eu tenho um grub-menu mostrando o Windows 7, mas ao clicar nele, ele fica preso no logotipo do Windows. Apenas fica lá carregando para sempre.

Eu recomendarei fazer um reparo de inicialização

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y boot-repair && boot-repair

"O sistema operacional ativo era o windows 7, com janelas pré-instaladas 8 (mas não ativadas)." O que exatamente isso significa? Por que sua primeira atualização para o Windows 8 ou Windows 10 não pode ter um disco de recuperação (usb) e, em seguida, fazer uma nova instalação? Como esta é uma nova instalação, você não está perdendo muitos dados.

Tente alterar grub.cfg para o Windows 7.

  1. Inicialize seu sistema no menu GRUB.
  2. Selecione (destaque) a entrada do menu de inicialização do GRUB Windows 7 (loader) (on /dev/sda3)
  3. Pressione e para editar os comandos de inicialização do GRUB para o Windows 7.

Seu comando de inicialização atual deve se parecer com:

  • Adicione o comando insmod ntldr
  • Altere o comando chainloader +1 para ntldr ($root)/bootmgr

Pressione F10 para inicializar usando estes comandos editados.

Se isso conseguir carregar o Windows 7, você poderá torná-lo permanente

  1. Edite o arquivo /etc/grub.d/40_custom e adicione o segundo menu de menu modificado.
  2. Execute o comando update-grub para atualizar grub.cfg para incluir sua entrada personalizada.
