Como instalar o postgresql 9.1 no Ubuntu 12.04 adicionando o repositório?

Eu instalei o postgresql usando

sudo apt-get install postgresql-9.1 postgresql-9.1-contrib postgresql-9.1-postgis

então, devido a alguns motivos, eu preciso desinstalar o postgresql do meu sistema. E desinstalado usando:

sudo /etc/init.d/postgresql stop
sudo apt-get --purge remove postgresql\*
sudo rm -r /etc/postgresql/
sudo rm -r /etc/postgresql-common/
sudo rm -r /var/lib/postgresql/
userdel -r postgres
sudo userdel -r postgres
sudo groupdel postgres

Agora quero instalar a mesma versão novamente, mas não há repositório encontrado. Como eu poderia adicionar repo & amp; instalar?

Você pode usar o Repositório do PostgreSQL Apt. O repositório apt do PostgreSQL suporta as versões LTS do Ubuntu (12.04, 14.04 e 16.04) nas arquiteturas amd64 e i386. Para usar o repositório apt

  1. Crie o arquivo /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pgdg.list e adicione uma linha para o repositório:

    deb http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt/ precise-pgdg main
    
  2. Importe a chave de assinatura do repositório e atualize as listas de pacotes:

    wget --quiet -O - https://www.postgresql.org/media/keys/ACCC4CF8.asc | sudo apt-key add -
    sudo apt-get update
