Hoje à noite eu fiz uma nova instalação do Xubuntu 15.04 no meu laptop, um Acer Aspire TimelineX 4820TG. Eu estava correndo 14.04 LTS antes, e tudo estava bem. Eu não tinha muita coisa para guardar, então eu fui para uma desinstalação completa e uma nova reinstalação, para ter um sistema mais limpo.
Infelizmente estou experimentando congelamentos periódicos desde o primeiro boot. O congelamento ocorre a cada 6-10 segundos e dura cerca de 1 segundo. Durante o congelamento, o mouse e o teclado não respondem e, portanto, ele fica com todo o sistema. É muito chato.
Além disso, posso ouvir a velocidade do ventilador toda vez que o congelamento ocorre. E o sistema trava no desligamento (tive que pressionar o botão liga / desliga).

Procurando por mensagens semelhantes, encontrei algumas dicas e acabei experimentando a opção de inicialização pci=noacpi first e noacpi depois. Eles resolvem o problema , mas infelizmente ambos fazem meu mouse USB não funcionar (não testei outros dispositivos USB externos).
Qual é o problema aqui? Por que o 12.04 funciona sem falhas? Como posso resolvê-lo enquanto mantenho meu mouse e outros dispositivos USB funcionando?

UPDATE : Depois de mais pesquisas, descobri que isso pode estar relacionado aos gráficos duplos comutáveis do meu laptop, que parecem quebrados no kernel atualizado de 15.04:

Eu resolvi com a opção radeon.runpm=0 boot, mas agora a ativação / desativação dinâmica da placa gráfica discreta não está funcionando, então meu sistema está mais quente e a duração da bateria é menor.
