Estou executando o Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS (GNU / Linux 3.13.0-93-genérico x86_64), construído a partir de um vm vagrant (virtualbox):

Instalei o libv4l-dev v4l-utils fswebcam gpicview libav-tools cheese e vejo a webcam listada em lsusb / usb-devices:

A mesma webcam em um vmware debian funciona bem, então como posso carregar o driver aqui?
