Não foi possível abrir o arquivo de log “pg_log / postgresql-Sun.log”: Nenhum arquivo ou diretório

Question

Depois de instalar o postgresql no fedora 17 usando o gerenciador de pacotes yum. Quando tento iniciar, recebo a mensagem de erro.

Estou curioso porque um diretório pg_log simplesmente não é criado na instalação do postgres.
