Meu SSD está morrendo? Por favor ajude!

Neste momento, não tenho certeza se meu SSD está morrendo ou se tenho outros problemas. No começo eu comecei a receber o ata COMRESET falhou (erro = -16) na inicialização, mas o computador inicializaria e rodaria bem, com a exceção de ficar pendurado de vez em quando.

Eu achei que o motivo do erro foi o fato de uma soma de verificação não ser compatível devido a um download ruim (o Kubuntu usa o SHA256 ao invés do MD5 para checksum) e baixou o Kubuntu 16.04.2 novamente.

Antes de reinstalar eu fui e instalei o Windows (perdoe-me Stallman) e usei-o para atualizar o firmware do SSD -Desde o fabricante não forneceu e não fornecerá um atualizador para o Linux, e o Windows não relatou nenhum problema com a unidade, como eu verifiquei várias vezes, e o fiz com a ferramenta de atualização (ou seja, também uma ferramenta de verificação), que diz que o SSD está limpo.

Eu não quis atualizar o BIOS, pois ele pode prejudicar meu computador se eu fizer isso errado.

O disco está funcionando bem e não há perda de dados, e o único indicador de problema é a mensagem exibida às vezes quando eu inicializo, e quando eu inicializo de um disco ativo isso é uma parte do que eu obtive antes de inicializar ao vivo modo.

Eu verifiquei usando o Parted Magic e este é o log que recebi, ele passou em todos os testes e o S.M.A.R.T diz que é saudável (e também a ferramenta do fabricante).

Quando usei outro disco e inicializei a partir do disco ativo, ele não exibiu as mensagens.

O meu SSD está morrendo? Eu tive isso por quase um ano agora. Tenho muito medo de usar o meu computador e quero ter certeza de que o disco está OK, é utilizável ou está morto e precisa ser substituído.

Em todos os casos, não uso esse disco para armazenamento de dados, pois é uma unidade pequena (apenas 111 GB) e só consegui fazer o computador inicializar mais rápido e executar programas mais rapidamente.

P.S: não tenho nenhuma personalização ou software especial instalado.

Até agora, o disco parece estar funcionando e a contagem de erros está em 217. Poderia ter sido o ISO corrompido que baixei, que começou super lento, e eu tive que ajustá-lo para rodar mais rápido?

O que fiz foi instalar uma atualização de firmware do SSD no Windows (devido à falta de software do fabricante) e depois instalar uma nova instalação do Kubuntu 16.04.2

Então, estou marcando isso como resolvido até novo aviso.
