Não é possível conectar-se para proteger a rede sem fio com o Netgear wna3100 USB

Eu instalei o Ubuntu 11.10. Eu usei uma conexão com fio para baixar e instalar todas as atualizações.

Quando tentei usar um adaptador de rede USB sem fio Netgear WNA3100, ele falhou. Pesquisando e testando coisas, finalmente pude fazê-lo funcionar desabilitando a segurança no meu roteador. Eu verifiquei isso desabilitando a segurança e consegui me conectar. Quando habilitei a segurança (WPA2 PSK), a conexão falhou.

O que é necessário para ativar a segurança (WPA2 PSK) e ainda usar a interface USB da Netgear?

Estou usando o sistema agora com a segurança do roteador desligada. Quando eu enviar isso, voltarei a ligar a segurança.

Acabei de descobrir como me conectar ao meu; no entanto, pode não ser uma solução universal. Dê um tiro e vamos ver se funciona para você. No seu roteador, altere a configuração WPA2 para TKIP e não para AES. Assim que fiz isso, conectei instantaneamente. Então, espero que ajude você!
