syslog-ng falha ao iniciar

O cliente linuxserver (centos 6) que envia o log para o syslog-ngserver tem o rsyslogd sendo executado com a linha abaixo adicionada

 *.* @102.94.26.27:514     #ip of syslog-ng server and port

Tente executar syslog-ng --syntax-only para verificar se não há erros de sintaxe em sua configuração e syslog-ng -Fevd para obter mensagens de erro mais detalhadas. (Eu queria adicionar isso como um comentário, mas não consegui.)

Além disso, tente parar e começar, em vez de reiniciar.
